ROCK ON THE WEB REVIEW OF DESERT MONKEY'S 'WATER DAMAGE'.

'It's a very different style to most music. The intro has a small build up with distortion and some drum fill-ins but the style of vocals are very different to nearly everything I've heard. He sounds like a confident and passionate singer.
The songs all sound fairly similar i think when they get going. They've all got some good intros, like the drum beat in track 2. But it may just be the lyrics that seem to make the songs sound the same.
'Run Along' its a much quieter and softer song, with some really good riffs in. Most of the song sounds different to the others, but i think when they get a bit heavier they get a bit repetitive.

So apart from that really the content itself is really good. The last song 'Volume Phrasing' has got some good riffs and solos in it. I think their unique style of vocals are a very nice change from all the other crap that's out here today.
7/10'
