"After building a great reputation locally for there live set, Desert Monkey bring a groovy funky rock EP, that shows off their high talent and song writing abilities. The songs are catchy and easy listening, fans of "Guns and Roses", "Led Zeppelin" will surely like this, it has some great timings that give it different funky edge that's given them a reputation they deserve on the local rock scene. The 3rd track starts off and all I thought was "Tina Turner" then the beat changes and keeps it away from the 70's pop that would have ruined this CD. They deliver what's expected from there fans and brought a well produced CD with good overall songs. Good luck to them they deserve a rating of 8/10".
